[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given the opportunity to test this Hoover Elite Swivel Upright Vacuum, for free in exchange for my opinion. I have owned a Shark for over ten years. I swore that was the best out there. Then I met this Hoover. It is lightweight, has incredible suction and is quieter than my Shark. I was actually disgusted the first time I used the Hoover, at how much dirt was left behind by the Shark. The Hoover has settings for high carpet, medium carpet, low carpet and, hard surfaces. The dust cup is huge as compared to my Shark. It is easy to dump and clean. The cord is long enough that I can almost vacuum my whole house without changing outlets many times. The swivel feature makes it easy to get underneath and around things. I am so happy to have been given this opportunity, because I LOVE my new Hoover. I would recommend this vacuum to anyone, any time.

We live in an apartment that is partially underground. The dust/dryer fuzz accumulates fast. With 2 kids a good vacuum is essential. I did a side by side with my old vaccum and the lifting power of the Hoover Elite Swivel was apparent. Great for tight corners. So far so good!

Pros: -Installation was a breeze -Easy removal of dirt canister -Vacuums all the way out to edge so getting along walls is a breeze -It has amazing suction -overall rolls really easy and you can maneuver Cons: -the bottom is a bit clunky/bigger (so a tad bit of effort to pick up over a wire or something) -maneuvering around curves is a little tougher

Bulky but Powerful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum is a little bit hard to manage when trying to go under furniture or tight spaces, but the suction power is great especially on my carpets. We have three cats and it made the rugs look way better! I like the attachment pieces and the stretch hose which makes it easy to do the furniture and under things. I like how big the canister is that holds the dust as well. You can vacuum for a bit of time without needing to empty it. I'm not sure how it is to clean the filters because I didn't need to yet, but it looks like it will be easy. It has a bit of weight to it but I've definitely tried other vacuums like this that were even heavier. I feel this vacuum is pretty compact for being a normal upright bag less vacuum.

I love this vacuum, I tried this vacuum out on all kinds of messes and it handled them all with no problem, potting soil, cereal, granola,pet hair,carpet sprinkle you name it ! The Hoover elite picked it all up Its also light and it moves around chairs and furniture very easily .I would recommend the Hoover elite to everyone it's an awesome vacumim so glad its mine !!!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Hoover Elite Swivel Upright Vacuum is the best I've used. I had bought a Bissell Powerforce Helix before and this one worked okay. But this new one I just received it is much easier for me to maneuver it I can move it to side to side. With the powerpass brush roll. It goes deeper in cleaning which I really need because of my 6 year old always leaving crumbs everywhere. I definitely recommend this to all my family and friends.
