Looks Awful After Just One Use

Very upset with this product. I was excited to buy this as a present for my son, who is a frequent traveler, and upon his very first trip the bag came back so scratched and scuffed--far beyond any typical wear and tear. The whole bag is a total eyesore. I believe the quality is way poorer than I was led to believe. He was so upset and doesn't want to use the luggage now, and I am extremely disappointed in Samsonite and this product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Low Quality product - refrain buying it.

I have been using Samsonite since my childhood days and regret to inform you that quality on Samsonite products have gone so bad that it just doesn’t make sense to pay higher price and get low grade product. We bought large & medium Freeform spinner set that on our first trip got scratched all over like a 5 year old product. These are not small but big scratches all around these bags. To be reasonable I would accept some scratches over time and many uses to justify it, however just using it once and dealing with ugly looking product after paying good money is not acceptable. Yes, checked in luggage doesn’t get handled well compared to carryons but that is the reason we buy Samsonite luggage. If they are prone to scratches so easily then I think this should be mentioned on the product information booklet, so one can avoid buying those. I think there might be better products from other companies that we will consider over Samsonite. Thank you Samsonite for losing our trust in your brand. Really disappointed. PS: still under 1 year warranty

Surface easily scratched

Absolutely disappointed with the surface quality as it scratched so badly after first use, on second use, almost all sides were scratched. Understand airport luggage handling is rough, but I own 6 Samsonite luggages. None had this issue. Wondering if I can ask for a replacement. Just bought it a month back. Using it for the third trip already.
Pros: Good Capacity, Stylish
Cons: Poor Quality
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great suitcase, but incorrect dimensions. I had to return it, because it did not fit in Alaska Airlines overhead bin. I specifically looked for a suitcase that fit within 22x14x9 inches. Samsonite's dimensions do not include wheels and handles, which makes online purchases impossible. Samsonite has unfortunately probably lost me as a customer over unreliable dimensions. I never check in bags and only carry on when I fly, so correctly published dimensions is essential to me when buying a suitcase.

NOT CARRY ON SIZE AS DESCRIBED

I'm completely disappointed with Samsonite. I spent HOURS choosing for a luggage set just to discover that the carry on IS NOT 21.5 AS DESCRIBED!
As you can see in the picture, the true size is even higher than 22 inches for domestic carry on.
I travel abroad once a month for business, which means I rely a lot on carry ons to save time. I've always had Samsonite, it's the first time that happens to me. Sadly, I'm returning the product.

Great purchase!!!

I got these over a moth ago in pink and on my first trip using them it was so easy to pack everything and carry them around, I packed the big one with clothes for a week for 2 adults and it was not even full, and the small one for a toddler and his tons of clothes and blankets, everything fitted.
I would recommend this to a friend!
