[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I know sometimes tapemeasures can seem kind of mudane, and its easy to grab the nearest cheap one hanging by the checkout, since it will 'get the job done', but I am here to say that if you want less frustration in your life buy this tape measure. I build patios, and measure a lot of things in super dirty and dusty conditions. One day in particular sums up the quality of this product. I was in a rush and set it down on the ground. Well an already sloppy spring day became much more so wet-cutting stone. Long story short this tape got so caked in mud that you honestly couldn't tell what it was. It just looked like a ball of mud. I picked it up, put the hose nozzle up to the thing sprayed it out until the water ran clean and the thing started working as good as new. It boggled my mind. That tape lasted until someone accidently hit it with a chainsaw.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this about 5 months ago and its really taken a bearing in the cabinet shop. Super awesome old school feel. Only thing I would change is maybe make the lock a little easier to push down.

Light weight and accurate!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received my STANLEY Power lock as a gift, never before owning one. It might not be as durable as the FatMax product line but if you take care of your tools like I do, the weight reduction is worth the compromise when you have a framing tool belt to fill. Ever oz. You can shed off counts. Besides, my crew likes to use Milwaukee tapes, we compared the two and the wiggle room at the tip of the STANLEY Power lock tape is significantly less resulting in a more accurate measurement every time.

Best tape measure for dirty jobs

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've worked in steel fabrication for 25+ years, always used Stanley PowerLock tapes. Some of our material comes in 24' lengths, so I use the 25' one. Seems like the blade holds up to the dirt and oil well. And it's always accurate. Best things is the marks are on both sides of the blade and are THE SAME on both sides.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had this tape measure for years with no issues what so ever. This is the same style my dad has owned since I was a little kid and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great tape measure.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased my 25 foot power lock back in 1990. It is still going strong. I have dropped it from some very high heights. It survived 25 years by my side as an iron worker. It is now honorably retired. What else can I say.
