I use it with a Macbook for graphic design and animation and got one for my daughter, as well. Highly recommend and you can't beat the price. I have a 27" LG Ultrafine display at work that cost a few thousand dollars and I truly prefer the Thinkvision.

I wish I had known there wouldn't be a DP to DP cord in the package. I had to use one of the HDMI to DP cords I had on hand and now it's not connecting with my computer (a Lenovo thinkPad) using a Lenovo docking station.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
