My previous battery died, so I bought this as replacement for my UPS. I installed it, turned the device on, and - voilà! Power backup! I haven't seen it since, so I'm not sure how it's doing, but the self tests do not raise alarms. My assumption is that the battery is doing what a battery is supposed to do. However, APC sent me TWO emails now to review their - wait for it - battery, and the only review that would make sense is a longevity assessment. Well, this battery is absolutely perfect during its first three weeks on duty.

We use this often to replace dead batteries in APC UPS'. never had an issue. These are quite a bit more expensive than the non-OEM replacement batteries but is probably worth the $$$ cost to avoid a potential compatibility headache.

I use this in 4 or 5 APC UPS units. The units start to chirp very loudly when the battery fails. I can't turn off the chirping so have to unprotect those devices and turn off the APC while I order a replacement battery which takes a week sometimes.
