This product is consider bargain. My iPhone 12 Pro speedtest was 690-762 Mbps on wireless (wifi 6). On MacBook Pro (wired) 942 Down & 930 up (Mbps). Highly recommended to anyone looking for faster internet. All test was done 2 to 6 feet away. Other level of the house was 500 - 200 (Mbps) down & 300 to 180 up (Mbps). I hope this router will last like other high end brand.

After my last router died, I needed a new one that could not only operate our tv and computer but my kids gaming as well. This router is up for the task with no slow downs. Was easy to install and had us up and working in a very short period of time. Would definitely recommend.

This is an excellent router with great speed and range. We can get good/usable signal in our backyard 200ft away from the router even with our rural 25mbps ISP. It has all of the great WIFI 6 features you are looking for and is a very well balanced unit especially for the price. Setup through the web portal or Tether App is extremely simply and straight forward. This is likely a perfect router for most people. We have been buying TP-Link for years and have never had issues. Highly recommended!

Very happy with this purchase and the sales staff that recommended it! We have great reception, just note that you must set the router up with your laptop for it to actually provide the wifi. It showed full bars on our wifi but was not letting us use the wifi. If we used our phone data we could search. Technician came out and had to program the router which we did not know about. Our last router was just plug in and put in password and it all worked.

Love the technology, I like that you can tether the router and make changes or watch what's going on from anywhere in the world, I was surprised that this technology exists, I guess I haven't been paying attention. I noticed everything is faster, even my Alexa responds faster, very happy with this router. Oh, and very easy to setup.

Excellent router for the money (Sale Price).

I wanted a WiFi 6 (ax) router to replace the router function of the Telus T3200M gateway. Specifically I wanted faster WiFi speed and selectable DFS channel capability.
After putting the Telus gateway into bridge mode and connecting the new Archer AX55 (AX3000) to LAN port 1 of the gateway and connecting the other end of the ethernet cable to the WAN port of the Archer AX55. Setup was fast and easy with auto firmware update happening during initial setup. After that was completed, I turned off the 5GHz and 2.5GHz radios on the Telus gateway. Turning the gateway into modem only mode.
Wireless Wifi now being handled by the Archer AX55. I now have higher wireless speed that is more stable and a lower SNR signal, latency and jitter. It is also a pleasure to be able to select unoccupied DFS channels in a crowded WiFi environment.
So far I've been happy with my choice of router but I did wait until it went on sale. No need to pay full price. Having said that, this router is hardware version 1 (v1.0) and not the newer v2.0 That may make a difference for some people.

2.4GHz not reliable.

The router was working great for two months. Then I started experiencing slow and unreliable 2.4GHz WiFi. After contacting TP-Link technical support and went through troubleshooting with them, they come to the conclusion that the router is defective and has to be replaced as is still under warranty. But their warranty policy required the customer to pay for one way shipping to TP-Link CA and this is not negotiable. The cost of shipping exceeded 30% of the value of the router and it does not make sense to send it back. Most reputable companies will pay for returning shipping, but not TP-Link. Keep in mind that if you are buying TP-Link product the warranty is not that great as it sounds.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
