The front monitor/screen is clear and inputs on the back of the unit are placed nicely. Would recommend this brand and unit if you are looking to upgrade the protection on your work computer.
I bought two of these units to power and protect my TV, stereo unit, set top box and DVR whilst the second one powers and protects my security cameras and NVR unit. I am disappointed that the cooling fans are so noisy when the AVR is operating. Our power supply is quiet ordinary with the input voltage always around 130 or even a little higher. Hence tha cooling fan operating most of the time. The unit itself I am happy with with both the protection side and backup power. I had read reviews on other units and this one was suppose to be the quietist when running. If you can put up with the noise then I would recommend buying it.
the tripplite products are of very good quality, although you have to know how to choose the right product for each need, when the product is not the indicated one can be problems.
I use this as a backup for my 4-bay 8Tb media server, WiFi router, cable modem, VoIP, and smart switch. Basically, it runs everything connecting my PCs and Home Theater to the internet and each other. I usually buy the other two big guns in the business but the Tripp Lite had so many features and value that I just wanted to give it a shot. This is a big unit with more outlets than I need and more reserve too. The Smart feature is not used since there is nothing attached that could use it so I cannot say anything about its function. But I can say this is a rock solid unit, equally as good as my S20BLK at a considerable savings. So if your needs are modest as mine were you may want to give this unit an audition. It's a keeper in my system.
A product that does what it is designed to do, and as advertised. My computer, network, and smart home hubs are attached to it, and unlike previously to its purchase, I have had no problems caused by the occasional brief power outages in my area.
I bought this UPS for my home office which includes the following devices: On Battery Backup: - Modem - Router - Gaming Desktop - HP DL360 G6 Server - 4 Bay eSATA storage array Surge only: - 2x 24" Dell monitors - Printer Average consumption/utilization: 30% Estimated time on battery: 30 minutes Overall the product works as intended, however I did run into issues if wall power is lost with the HP server (it didn't stay powered on).
