This laptop is the best value/performance

i use this laptop for my homeworks in Solid Works, i'm a student in mechanical engineering,and this is the perfect laptop for me.I don't really use it for games,i have 2 games, F1 2010 and Arcania gothic 4 and it runs both of them good ,F1 at medium graphics and at 1366x768(the screen resolution) and Gothic 4 at low and the same resolution and works very good.It has integrated video card and that is the reason why i don't recommend this product for gamers.But for applications,like Solid Works, Inventor,Catia,etc, its great,it runs HD movies, i connected it trough its hdmi port to my HD Samsung tv and it runs perfectly.The build in speakers are good,not very powerful but better then the alternatives from other manufacturers ,and very clear sound.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have only owned HP computers. I purchased this one on a whim for a second laptop. I totally love it. I rather use it than my HP. I am not sure why, it might be the great keyborad that is very easy to type from. I haven't watched a blue ray movie on it but it will probably be great.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight

I've never owned a Samsung laptop, and since i like their tv's, i thought id give this one a try. I was sold on the Blu-ray player. Every other laptop in this price range had an hdmi port, which i use to hookup to my tv. I have a wireless keyboard and mouse on the coffee table. Somehow, even though i rarely use the laptop's keyboard, the "F4" key has managed to pop itself off. I've had the laptop 29 days, and didn't get the extra "peace of mind" warranty. Out of the three other laptops i've owned, i've never had the keyboard be an issue. Now i have to drop it off at UPS or drive the 39.48 miles and drop it off myself.
Performance. Not bad, but not great. I have another laptop with 1gb less ram and half the HD, Core 2 duo processor, and 50 gb of music on it. I think it performs faster than this one, and i haven't even loaded any of my files on it (thinking that would just slow it down.)
Battery. I've been on "Samsung's recommended power plan." The battery life is pretty good at 4-5 hours. For now...
Speakers. not loud enough. at the highest volume on both the computer and whatever you're trying to listen to, you wouldn't bother the person next to you in a library.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive
Cons: Did not meet expectations, keyboard

Do not buy this computer

I bought my samsung r480 about 3-4 months ago, and it worked good for about 1 week, then nothing but problems. Currently my power adaptor is not working, which means it is unuseable. Ever sense I got it, it would take about 15 mins. to boot up, I constantly have problems with the HDMI sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't ( which was the main reason why I bought it) To top it all of one key fell off. Very poorly made computer. I bought it because all the features for such a good price, now I'm wishing I went with a better known brand!!!!!
Pros: Inexpensive
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, have problems withh all inputs
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I just bought this laptop yesterday. So far I really like it. I have owned a dell and an Acer and this laptop is my favorite so far. It runs a little slower than my last laptop. I really like the keyboard, it is so easy to type. Its a great design that isnt too boring. Red really isnt my fav but it looks great with the black and the swirls in it. Great laptop.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color, Lightweight
