Big sound from a bookshelf speaker! It’s almost like having a stealth stereo system. It’s hard to believe that all that beautiful noise is coming from one Klipsch sound bar and these two R-51M’s. No regrets. At all!
I've been listening to several different genres of music on my new Klipsch R-51M speakers and am not disappointed on any of them. I am very impressed with the sound from these little speakers. Some of the reviews stated that they needed a subwoofer. I was really surprised at the bass these are pumping out. I'm going to wait on the sub. These have nice, bright highs which sounds great. Right now, Sloop John B is sounding pretty fantastic. The build quality is very good and there is a nice heft to them. I am extremely happy with these.
We needed a pair of high-efficiency speakers for front stereo sound-stage augmentation. Smallest possible size was an essential criterion. These were purchased on pure speculation that they would be ideal for this application based on the Klipsch reputation in high frequency horn design. They have satisfied the need perfectly. An outstanding loudspeaker.
Absolutely fantastic speakers. They are secondary/surround speakers in my current set up. I mainly listen to cds and vinyl, an occasional movie. These are super clean sounding, every type of music ive thrown at them they have done well. Vocals, guitars and keyboards really shine on them. They do great bass for their size, but dont expect them to thump, they arent designed for that. I dont find them to be bright or harsh at all on the high end.
I like them so much that im going to replace my mains soon with a bigger set of kilpschs. I truly dont think you could beat these speakers for the price. Ive had infinity and polk bookshelf speakers and these eat them alive.
