S24 Ultra is insane!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Galaxy S24 Ultra has become a staple for me as far as useful tech goes. I get so much done on it, including work, school work, and even gaming. My work is mobile so I have to do things on the go. The built in S pen helps so much with finer details. Especially when I'm getting projects done for school. The phone hasn't slowed down a bit, the image quality is great, the built in system is so adaptive. I love the gaming experience too. The quality is excellent, the game center helps a lot with its game curated settings. Ever since Galaxy AI was added to the software, it has helped so much with tasks like notes, messages, and even emails. The Galaxy series by far has got a loyal customer and user here. Highly recommend.

Transferring from the old phone to the new phone could of gone a little better. Passwords and not all my info transferred over on the first try. But eventually I got everything set up and love it!

Great Phone Let Down by Heavy Software

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The hardware of this phone is pretty solid. Coming from the S23 Ultra, I thought I'd miss the 10x telephoto, but I definitely like having a high-res 5x instead in 90% of my photo and video situations.
The battery life WAS good (more on that later) the display is great, and the pen is occasionally useful. Everything just works...
...Except OneUI. On the one hand it has truly incredible customization. Being able to change the entire UI color with Good Lock, adding more functionality to the gestures, having the seconds on the clock ONLY on swipe down, the ability to do custom icons on the native launcher, hide apps, having the wallpaper AOD, the new Galaxy AI object eraser and slow-mo features, etc are all wonderful. And often times the system itself is very smooth with nice animations. But OneUI is easily the least consistent UI I've ever seen when it comes to consistency in transparency, shading, and sizing. Here's one example: Next time you get a notification, swipe down into the notification panel when it's still popped up on your screen. You'll notice it's a different transparency than the other notifications unless you have it changed in Good Lock. Then go to the lock screen and you'll notice those notifications are a darker gray than the others. It's so annoying to see these little glitches and inconsistencies. They don't exist on other phones. That is my biggest gripe with Samsung. And the fact that OneUI 7 battery life is atrocious.
