The Speck Persideo2 Grip MagSafe with ClickLock is always a great choice. I’ve chosen Grip cases for years for all my phones. It’s a sleek and grippy design that’s always easy to put in my pocket with the protection of 13ft I don’t really worry much at all. Speck is the brand I choose most and will always come back to them.

Thin plastic near camera button breaks

The thin plastic on the screen side of the case that is around the camera button breaks in less than 30 days. Speck products are usually indestructible but in regular use this thin strip has broken again. Speck was fantastic and replaced the first case. The second case has exactly the same problem. The only fix is a re-design, for the iPhone 17 just put a press button similar to the other buttons, the camera button adjustments aren't that useful and I'd sacrifice that for a rugged case which is why I buy Speck.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
