This is the bag all crews use. Avoid the next model up called the pilot bag. The pockets on the side dont let it fit in the 737 cockpit, and the plastic side reinforments make the rear pocket too small to fit trip sheets or magazines. Stick with this one!

lots of space inside. lightweight and roomy. nice fabric. can't figure out what the zipper pouch would be for, nothing really fits. Having some trouble with the handle going up and down, hoping that works itself out with use. Super quiet wheels.

Overall a good choice. Front small pocket has only one zipper pull which allows items to fall out when opening. Needs two zipper pulls so it easier to access without the threat of items falling out. The previous model had the two zipper pulls.
Rear gusseted pocket is now smaller and does not expand enough.
Inside the suitcase the area behind the mesh compartment restricts the quantity of folded shirts that you can put in because it does not expand enough like previous model. Handle is sturdy and works well along with the suitcase wheels.

It complements our other three pieces of Travel Pro luggage. We prefer the roller-type style rather than the four-wheel spinner style. We think the spinner styles are just accidents waiting to happen the way baggage handlers treat luggage today.

Love, love, love my Travelpro! We are an airline family, and I travel a lot. It’s perfect! Roomy, durable, rolls easy, light weight and easy maneuvering. My travel pal! Very Satisfied!

I ordered the FC5 22” expandable to cut down on the weight of the suitcase compared to my previous bag. It’s about 5lbs lighter which make a pretty big difference slinging my bag for 5-10 day trips! I like pretty much everything about the bag, save one minor thing..... the zipper tabs for the main pouch are “bent” (by design) to lay flat against the bag which makes them wonky & odd when they flop the other direction. Imo, a simple straight zipper tab would be preferred, but like I said, it’s a small matter. I would order this bag again and I probably will soon for my wife to have a great suitcase.

I had tried “Briggs & Riley” 4 wheeled spinner and with my flight bag resting on top, the “spinner” became top heavy, easily toppled over and pulled muscles in my back! I purchased the Travelpro FlightCrew 5 22” expandable (WITHOUT the side pockets which, do not allow the bag to fit in the Boeing 737 Cockpit) and I am VERY HAPPY. This bag is well balanced, easy to pull and maneuver, expandable, has many more pockets that are easy to access. Highly recommend!!
