It prints well, the ink cartridges are easy to replace and they are economical. My only wish is that I could print front and back without having to remove the paper tray, put the one sided print copy back in, figuring out which side it prints on, and print again. I have created pamphlets that have to be front and back and this is difficulty and time consuming.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Awesome All-in-one

This all-in-one is awesome! Easy setup, easier to use, LOVE the Wireless. Its a great energy saver too, with the auto on/off feature. Best of all I don't have to pay to fax anymore!! Worth way more than I paid. Thanks for a great machine.

Great price for a printer!

Got a great price for this wireless all in one printer. Been pretty happy with it since I just do simple printing from websites. Haven't done any photo printing yet so I can't say anything to that. Did have problems connecting it wirelessly but that was because my router was acting funny that day. Other than that, it would have been an easy installation.

I use this printer in my home for mostly documents. I have 3 computers that my wife and I print from so the wireless feature was what I was looking for. The setup was as close to self-setup as you can get. For me it is worth more then the selling price. It goes to sleep when not being use so I never turn it off. Because it has it's own wireless built in I don't have to have a printer server on to print. It is a good buy and does what BROTHER say is does. Simple as that.

Best Purchase Ever

I don't know why I didn't find this printer earlier. I mean no print heads nor chips to mess with. In conjunction with a printer "kit" I was able to compliment the printer with, I can actually print w/o worry for ink issues. I never have to replace the cartridges - merely fill them externally.
For print quality I was surprised at how good the graphic printing is; didn't expect it . My only problem has been printing envelopes smaller than 9 X 6 (say a standard #10 or smaller). I haven't been able to figure out why I keep coming up w/an error of 'wrong paper size. Then again if this be my only issue, I can live with it. Would recommend this printer to everyone.

Color Ink Dependable

Finding a durable printer is tough. We were very delighted with Brother after experiencing other brands, one brand did not even last more than a month! I love that it is wireless and that the papers are not constantly jamming. My only dislike is the fact that it needs all colors to not be on low to print in BLACK. I am on a deadline, and was printing some labels for some products to take to the store. They only needed to be in black, and I even tried setting the printer on grayscale....only to find it will not print! But I have a full cartlidge of black ink in there. It is the cyan ink that is low, and even with the cartlidge shook up and appearing to have ink in the little small window on the cartlidge, it will not print because it registers as low! Now my product will not be ready in time. I have had printers before that would print fine on black only if out of color ink, I think for this to be a newer product, it should do the same. That is why I do not recommend this printer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

So far at least. I've never had a printer that hasn't malfunctioned in 18 months I've had this one 3 months. I am most impressed with the customer service. I have called for somethings that may be a waste of time. I have never been on hold more than 15 minutes and have called more than 5 times because of my hesitancy due to other printers. Everything works!

Well Worth The Money

Excellent printer. Well worth the money spent, especially with it being on sale at the time. Prints fast, easy wireless set-up (anyone who says it can't or is difficult to get going wirelessly doesn't know what they are doing), crystal clear copies and prints. Another plus is that the ink cartridge prices for this printer are so much more reasonable than that of HP, Canon or Epson. Don't know why I waited so long, but I'm glad I finally took the plunge and invested in a Brother.
