Simple Shelf Setup for Kids’ Supplies

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found the ClosetMaid 3 Tier Storage Organizer with 2 Adjustable Shelves in the Dark Cherry finish fairly easy to put together. Using a manual screwdriver it took me less than 30 minutes from start to finish. The instructions were clear, and all the hardware was included.
I put it in my front closet to hold school supplies for the kids. Now they can easily grab what they need when getting ready, and everything stays neat and organized instead of scattered around. The adjustable shelves are a nice feature because I could customize the height depending on whether I wanted to store bigger binders or smaller notebooks.
The dark cherry color also looks fine in the closet and doesn’t just feel like a basic storage piece. The only downside is that the underside of the shelves are not a finished color, so it looks a bit low-end. Because the back panel is cardboard, I would not recommend putting this in a child’s room or having it for use as cubbies because it will take a beating. Also, the screw covers will not lie flush to the product and keep falling off.
Overall, it has been a simple and effective way to keep things tidy and accessible for everyone in the house. I would recommend it if you need a versatile shelving solution that doesn’t take all day to assemble.

Directions are confusing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this shelf fit perfect in my living room for a shoe cubby! We can even put 2 pair in 1 slot so cute a little difficult to put together but very sturdy!
