[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The planter is very sturdy and looks aesthetically pleasing (although wish it was a little more black, but that’s being picky). I will say that it is great if you need the space for VERY long roots, otherwise you have to use a LOT of soil.

Big Style, No Heavy Lifting!

This self watering planter is incredible! It is a nice height, and is made from recycled, plastic and rubber. It is crack proof, UV and weather resistant. Its drainage system includes a removable drainage plug to eliminate water-logging during outdoor use while also keeping your plants secure from root rot. Planter contains a self watering system that consists of an interior water reservoir.
I love this planter so much that I will be purchasing a second one to accentuate my garage door!!

Such a nice and sturdy planter!

Durable and stylish

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This planter is deceivingly light. I was pleasantly surprised when I pulled it out of the box. It has a rubber-like feel to it and it is durable. It is quite deep so we put some styrofoam in to prop our short plant and then filled it with dirt. It allows for drainage at the bottom. This is such a nice piece to put on a front porch or back lanai.

A nice touch inside or outside of your home

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] One of the best things about this TierraVerde 28” Symphony Planter is that the design allows for you in multiple types of plants and planting techniques. I planted my Adams Needle in it because I want to make sure that it’s roots were safe during the cold weather. The design of this planter allows for the roots to be safe. The planter is very durable but not heavy which is what I like. I can move it from one spot to another around my patio area. I also can use it to plant potatoes. It’s deep enough and would be perfect. The material seems to be safe for plants and sturdy. The bottom has to the perfect condition for drainage which you are a plant lover is very important. The design as a nice decor, the inside or outside of your home.

The Appearance is modern but timeless, a sleek tall square shape with clean lines that taper at the bottom in a simple matte black. Made from recycled materials, it looks and feels heavy-duty. While we haven’t had it long, early weathering has been uneventful, with no scuffing or fading, and it has stayed steady through sun and rain.
In daily use, assembly was quick and intuitive. Ergonomics are excellent, with the taller profile making potting and watering more comfortable. With the built-in reservoir and good drainage, it keeps plants looking great with minimal attention, and there’s a drain plug for indoor setups that makes switching locations simple and smart.
This planter suits most plants; however, I’d warn anyone considering taller choices. I’d keep plants under about three feet to avoid high-wind instability, as it might topple over. Adding rocks to the bottom can enhance stability, cut down soil volume, and improve drainage, but it will prevent the self-watering system from working since the soil won’t wick water from the bottom. When empty this planter is portable, but once full it’s substantial, so plan your final spot before planting.
Overall, the TierraVerde Symphony delivers a refined look, fast and easy assembly, durable recycled construction that promises strong weathering performance, and thoughtful ergonomics and portability. This is exactly the kind of reliable, stylish workhorse gardeners like us appreciate season after season.
