Purchased kit to replace a 50" gate. Has no problem getting the hinges and frame installed.
Cut the 2 x 4s to length and upon trying to install found that the brackets they fit into were 1/8 inch too small, therefore required trimmings of the ends to fit.
What should have been a quick installation took much longer than expected.

We discussed the review internally here and wanted to determine the type of wood that you are using - if its pressure treated wood 2x4s these should have no problem fitting into the frame brackets. If you are using a softer wood - like redwood then you will have an issue with this wood being took thick. We are here to help you with your project so please let us know if you have questions.
