[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Suncast Willow 18-Inch Diameter Resin Decorative Wicker Patio Planter Pot is a fantastic addition to any indoor or outdoor space and has already become a wonderful addition to my home. As you can tell from the pics, I have a very large plant that needed repotting and I wasn’t sure whether or not this pot would be sturdy enough to accommodate it but not only is it sturdy enough, it has given my previously cramped, sickly, plant a new life in a beautiful home.
This planter pot combines aesthetics with functionality, offering a pleasing wicker finish that seamlessly blends with various decor styles. Pots of other brands that look similar to this one just don’t have the sturdy feel this pot has and that’s not where the positive qualities end.

It is evenly applied with no splotches or careless smudges of the materials from manufacturing.
One of the standout features of this planter that I particularly appreciate is its lightweight construction even despite its sturdy durability. It’s easy to handle, making it simple to rotate or relocate plants as needed. The 18-inch diameter and 16.5” height when filled with potting mix and a large plant would normally equal trouble maneuvering my plant but that is no concern with this standout.

Nice, But Not as Advertised

It’s lightweight yet sturdy, and it functions just fine as a planter. However, the design was disappointing. The advertised photos made it seem like it had a woven or wicker look, but in reality, it’s just a textured plastic design—not what I expected at all. While it still serves its purpose, the misleading appearance knocks off a couple of stars for me. If you’re just looking for a basic planter and don’t mind the difference in design, it’ll work for what you want and is very durable.
