I think this will be fine for me. I haven't used it for too long so I cannot be certain of durability or longevity. That being said it seems substantial and I feel Staples will stand behind their product. I also feel that the price might be higher than similar power strips.

It works great. The long cord is just what we needed. Most power strips only have a 2 ft cord.
