I wish the cord was longer. It is a basic model and just what I needed. It will be used in an office kitchen room. It will be used for a phone coffee maker and a tea kettle. They will be plugged in but I wouldn't use the two heat generating devices at the same time. The price was right but I actually like the strips with the rotating outlets which allow you to use transformer plugs of different sizes and shapes. It would also be nice if the cord swivelled where it comes out of the strip. It is so stiff and thick that it does not lie flat on the table and will be tricky to mount on the wall.

I bought this power strip thinking it was a surge protector but it is not. It should be more obvious because I had a laptop which was fried....several years ago. I thought I was using a surge protector.
