I think this will be fine for me. I haven't used it for too long so I cannot be certain of durability or longevity. That being said it seems substantial and I feel Staples will stand behind their product. I also feel that the price might be higher than similar power strips.

Electrician said it would be $1 000 to add an outlet next to my bed because they'd have to go through attic full of insulation. This 6' power strip solved the problem for under $25!

The cord is very stiff and combined with the plug not being flat makes it difficult to work with and stick out from the wall too far. Unless this strip will be completely hidden behind furniture I would recommend spending a few extra dollars on a strip with a flat plug and a better quality cord.
