Great Way to Cut Down Cord Clutter

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This USB strip has worked wonders for my desk/surrounding area cleanup. Gone are the days of dangling cords every which way (monitor laptop phone lamp …) and I still have extra outlets for less permanent electronics. Can’t speak to its surge protection ability (as far as I know have not had one recently) but I have faith it will do its job.

Staples Surge Protector

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this product for about 3 weeks now. To say it is the most superior product is an understatement. I use it in my master bedroom. It controls my lamp phone charger via USB and my back massager. It is a high end sturdy product. The cable to plug into the wall is so sturdy heavy and high quality. It also has a light to indicate it is plugged into correctly and that it is working. I have other products that I use on expensive items tv’s computers but this product exceeds those other devices. Plus those units are plug in device that take up the entire outlet. This device plugs into only one socket of a usual 2 socket plug outlet. I feel very safe using it and that my products and my outlet are being used safely and that my products are protected. This unit is the best I cannot recommend it any more than to say try it it will be the last one you will ever purchase. I know personally I will go and purchase 4 others for my home to convert all of my other tv’s and computers to this device and donate the other plug in device. The star rating only goes to 5 but it is an exceptional product!!!!

Very handy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This surge protector is very handy. When I first opened it I was worried that the metal would scratch my desk. However soon I saw the two rubber pads. They had thought of it! The surge protector was very easy to install and has a small footprint. Compared to the long surge protector bars this is more compact and does not take up as much horizontal room which I really liked. The USB-C and A ports were also great since all the phones and tablets in my house use them to charge. I can see how the C port would be useless for some people though. The indicator light is clear but not super bright. If the room is dark and you're in bed you don't notice a bright light on your desk. Another really thoughtful design was the plug. It is curved so you can use it on the top socket without blocking the bottom. So far I have only plugged in the 3 prong and the USB-C cord but I look forward to having all my plugs consolidated in one place and not having to unplug the laptop or desk lamp from the wall when I need to plug in my phone. The only flaw would be that the unit slides off the bracket rather easily. However I'm still keeping 5 stars since that could be from the way the edge of the desk is curved.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Staples Tech Surge Protector 3-Outlet +3 USB Desk Mountable 900 Joules 5ft Black does everything exactly the way it should. I was impressed with design. It features a square rather then a long rectangle strip. The design allows for better placement and stability of the device. I loved that it had usb designated outlets which makes charging things like cell phones and other small personal devices a breeze. I also really enjoyed the ability to mount this. For our purposes we mounted this to the lower side of our bed so we can utilize it with devices we use and place on our nightstand. I have not had any issues at all it works perfectly.

Numerous plugs and helpful desk mount

I do like how there is a USB-C port included since a lot of surge protectors don’t include one. A lot of the time I have slight difficulties mounting other surge protectors because they don’t typically come with the materials to be able to mount them anywhere. The desk mount that came with this one was really helpful in securing the surge protector in such a way that nothing was damaged.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Staples Tech Surge Protector offers a compact and convenient solution for protecting your electronics while also providing handy USB charging ports. My overall impression was quite positive. It feels sturdy enough for everyday use and the combination of standard outlets and USB ports makes it quite a versatile addition to any desk setup. I primarily used this power strip with my gaming laptop and an external monitor plugged into the standard outlets. For the USB ports I charged my smartphone mouse and wireless earbuds. It handled all of these devices without any issues whatsoever. The three standard outlets felt adequate for a small desk setup. The inclusion of three USB ports (one being USB-C) is a definite plus. It’s incredibly convenient to be able to charge my portable devices directly from the power strip without needing extra wall adapters. This feature alone significantly enhances its functionality. What I liked most about this surge protector power strip was its practicality and space-saving design. Being desk mountable is a fantastic feature allowing you to keep it within easy reach and off the floor contributing to a tidier workspace. The 900 joule surge protection offers peace of mind that my devices are safeguarded as well. The 5ft cord length also provided enough flexibility for placement and mounting onto my desk. Overall it's a well-thought-out and functional surge protector for everyday tech needs.

Great office product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This surge protector plug in was industrial. The cord is sturdy as well as the plug in box. It has 3 plug in ports and 3 usb ports which makes it suitable for office use. I found it was a lot bulkier than I liked and felt it did not fit in to my decor or computer space. I loved the idea and that it could be attached to your desk with the clasp that came in the box but the whole assembly would be limited in its use.
