The printer is a work horse and I love it. The remanufactured tone cartridge leaves a streak on the side. I had it replaced and the "new" one does the same thing. Oh well it's not pretty but checks and such are printed so I am not too worried about it.

Print Quality Less Than Crisp

I work in a church office and this is the first "recycled" toner I purchased for our Lexmark E260d printer. I am very disappointed in the print quality. The lettering is light not crisp and looks like it does when my new "original" toner is nearly exhausted. I thought perhaps I had not shaken the cartridge well enough before using it so I removed it gave it a really good shaking cleaned the toner cartridge (air-dusted it) cleaned the inside of my printer replaced the cartridge and reprinted. I got the same light less-than-crisp quality I had gotten the first time I printed. For me (a heavy user) it is not worth the $10 and change you save by buying this instead of a new "original" toner cartridge. I would suggest purchasing this for "home use" if the quality of the print job doesn't really matter.
