This product serves the purpose for which I bought it but it's expensive for what amounts to a couple of pieces of plastic with a slot and a flimsy lock. The lock can be compromised rather easily but for the use I plan that's not so important. If you want something that's relatively secure and theft resistant look elsewhere.

Coin box

Being used as a donation box at Crisp Point Lighthouses Lake Superior. I do feel the box was over priced.
Lock keeps the back panel solidly in place while doubling as a sign slot. The overall size is perfect - visible enough to collect donations but small enough to not get in people's faces and pressure them to donate.
A bit expensive but otherwise nice appearance and solid.

Great box but expensive

I purchased this money collection box for a family walk team for Type 1 Diabetes. Sadly the bin I originally had was being stolen from the counter of the pizza place. It was shocking but I needed to buy something that locked and I had to velcro it down to the counter. Ever since buying this product the box has not been stolen. The lock box has a place for a picture and a key lock for safety. It is easy to open and lock but the box limits the amount of donations because it is small. My biggest complaint is the price. It was really expensive and takes away from the amount raised.

Just what we were looking for

We use this in the self-serve book sale area of our library. We like it because it has a place for a sign and it locks. Plus it is clear so we can always see the money inside.
