It works well for a payment box at the desk when the receptionist is not present. I do wish there were a design that was not clear for this reason. It's a neat box but I do believe that it is overpriced.

I need something to hold cash in a self service soda refrigerator. This coin box provided a way for us to request the donations for the soda and water in a protective box where no one could take the money out. The lock on the box gave is the protection we were looking for in this product. Thank you for providing such a product.

Expensive but does the job

I am shocked by how much this box cost--well over $30. Still I like that it is clear and that it has a slot in the back that gives you room to write an appeal for funds. I actually was forced to buy two of these boxes because the first one was not bolted down and was stolen along with whatever money was inside. The second one I drilled holes in the bottom and used machine screws to attach it to a piece of plywood. Now that it is secured on the piece of wood it can actually be a bit difficult to extract the change from the back because there is a slight ridge that gets in the way. Also I was able to use the old key in the new box. I had thought each would have a unique key but that is not the case.
