Good, Not Perfect

If you look closely at the guarantee you will find that there are so many ifs, ands and buts that it doesn't really cover much of anything. That aside, if you understand that these (and most Surge Protectors) will not protect you from lighting strike surges, these are a fair deal - not spectacular, but fair. They will help protect from regular power fluctuations. To get good surge protection, you need to invest in either an uninterrupted power supply unit (for other tan appliances) or a whole house surge protector installed at the main breaker box. The whole house option is probably the best, and really, it doesn't cost any more than a new fridge or other expensive electrical item.

I bought it for work - to plug in PC, MacBook and peripherals. Works great; almost a year - no accidents so far. Also, worth mentioning - the cord is just the right length. The price is great. What else do you want?

This surge protector is perfect for my living room. Even though I can mount it on the wall or desk, which I may still, the white cord fits nicely behind my new white accent table. I have my computer cords ( I use two laptops) already plugged in, nicely wrapped and ready to connect under the sofa when needed. Now I can work in my favorite spot, turn the switch on, and not have to connect the cords each time my battery gets low. I work for long spans doing research papers. I prefer to pull only what I need from my office and hide materials from site in custom organized areas around my comfy furniture. This is a fantastic addition to having my systems in place. The cord length, slim design, and sophisticated color make it perfect for my custom workplace. I use surge devices in other rooms for electronics, but this is the first one that fits well with the dŽcor. The other protector in the room is hidden by my entertainment center. Thank you for making such a nice cord.

The TLP606 Protect It! Surge Suppressor does what the literature says it will, at a price that's competitive with No Name brands. Tripp-Lite makes quality electrical protection devices for a variety of applications. I've used their products for nearly 30 years without any issues.

It is the first product of Tripp-Lite I have and I so happy to have it. It looks very nice and is well-designed. The power control with breaker prevents overload. The designed transformer outlet will provide convenient usage with blocking other outlets. I love it. I would like to have the second and third products of TRIPP-LITE.
