I bought this to protect my entertainment systems. I like to watch movies on a rainy day. However, watching a movie on a rainy day brings risks especially when its stormy. Having this surge protector gives me piece of mind that my hardware wont burn out while I'm cozying up to a good horror movie on a dark stormy night

It works perfectly well and it's last outlet is very convenient especially for Macbook users as it fits the charger perfectly well without it hanging on the side. This product was exactly what I wanted and at a good price. I trust the Tripp Lite brand. Many power strips have a cord that is too short. This one has a 6 foot cord which works for me.
