Staples notes use a different adhesive than is on the post-it notes. The glue smell is so strong these are now in the garage waiting to be returned.

I'm not complaining about the post-its but the online picture looks vastly different than the actual product. The dark blue is very dark and the purple way darker it would be hard to see with blue ink. sorry!
