Definitely ergonomic but a bit bulky

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall I really wanted to like this keyboard. It did seem to be very ergonomic and my wrists/hands didn't get as tired when using it especially at my standing desk. However a few things were challenging for me: it is quite bulky (perhaps because of the ergonomic design) but it took up too much space when you're also using a laptop. It definitely is best as a replacement for a desktop computer keyboard. In addition it came with no instructions for setup so it took me a while to figure out how to set it up wirelessly. Third it requires AAA batteries and did not provide them. However if you're purely looking for an ergonomic option and don't mind the size and setup this would be a good option for you!

Typing is so comfortable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking for a more comfortable and ergonomic wireless keyboard so I was excited to try out the Staples Wireless Ergo Keyboard in Black. It comes with a USB receiver and the keyboard requires a AAA battery (which is included). The wrist rest is super comfortable curved and it spans the entire length of the keyboard. I love that there are adjustable tilt legs underneath so that you can assume a more comfortable typing stance. I love the low-profile keys as they are ultra-quiet when I'm typing which keeps the noise level light in my office. I use this keyboard in my home office and it looks so nice on my desk. It is very easy to set up and use. My favorite feature of this keyboard is the split keys so that you can space out your hands when typing on either side.

I was hoping this keyboard would help relieve some stress on my wrists but it is at such an angle that it causes me to hit multiple keys while typing. I am going to return it.

Inefficient

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to try out the Staples Wireless Ergo Keyboard as I spend about 6-8 hours a day on my computer. Unfortunately the way the keys are split for ergonomics was so wildly different from what I’m used to that it made me extremely inefficient in typing. I was constantly misspelling words and needing to backspace several times sometimes even missing the backspace button because of the spacing. The curve at the bottom of the keyboard was comfortable but it wasn’t enough to make up for the frustration and inefficiency of my typing. In addition sometimes I would type on the keys and it was as if it was frozen nothing showed up for several seconds again adding to the inefficiency. The keyboard was quiet which I liked.

Great ergonomic keyboard

It took me a while to get used to it since I’ve only used standard keyboards in the past but I found that I like the ergonomic design better! It is very easy and comfortable to use once you get the hang of it. It was very easy to set up and use I only had to install the batteries and pop the dongle in my PC and I was up and running. It is really surprising how silent typing on this keyboard is! You can’t hear any of the keys at all! I used this keyboard in an office setting and it barely fit on my standing desk but now I wouldn’t go back to a non-ergonomic keyboard. The thing I liked most about his keyboard would be the scrolling wheel in the center it actually comes in handy quite often!

Premium looking and efficient

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I work from home 3x a week so I’m typically on a computer for 8-12h+ each day and require a full-size ergonomic keyboard to prevent my wrists and hands from hurting. The design of the Staples Wireless Ergo Keyboard makes my wrist rest better and it feels less painful after long work hours with a perfect height/elevation adjustment. The curved and split keyframes minimize muscle strain on the wrists and forearms and promote proper posture. It also looks very durable. The keys are soft and very silent (which annoys me greatly on other keyboards). The scroll-down and trackball feature is a great addition as you don’t need to switch to the mouse for a quick scroll - it saves me time and increases productivity in some of my projects. It was super easy to install plug the USB receiver into my computer’s USB port and it was ready to start using in seconds. It works with any operating system. This product is an absolute 5/5.

Comfortable keyboard

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Staples Wireless Ergo Keyboard is a good choice for those that work for long hours! Super easy to set up and connect to the computer using a small USB and popping in provided batteries. My wrists and hands have definitely been thanking me since I started using it as there is a curved base for your wrist. The only thing I didn't like about it was the space in the middle of all the letter keys that confuses me often and I find myself hitting the wrong keys too often. The first few days were the hardest as I got used to the different set up. I do like the scroll key although I wish it were in a more convenient location on the keyboard. They keys themselves are almost silent! No one else has to know that you are typing now. All in all though it takes some time to get used to this is a great key board.
