Great budget Ergonomic Keyboard

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For context I've used strictly ergonomic keyboards for the past ~20 years. My experience with them have ranged from $30 office type basics to the ~$100 medium range standards. I've never used the more wild or high end ones. Overall this keyboard feels like a solid entry into the budget friendly market and for under $50 I would recommend this to others. A few things come to mind that could be improved though. My initial gut reaction was a little unpleasant. With typical keyboards and ergonomic keyboards the bottom row of letters is a little offset so that the keys sit just left of center of the keys above them. With this keyboard however the left set of bottom row keys directly below the row above it. (see image) This was my initial biggest gripe but within a couple weeks of use my fingers have adjusted just fine and it's no longer even noticeable except when I come back from using my laptop for an extended period of time. They key response is very soft and because of that I think the key travel is a bit too far for my liking. This keyboard feels a bit mushy for lack of better words. That said it's as fine or better than some other common ergonomic keyboards you might find in this price range. The keyboard comes with a scroll wheel in the center which feels like a nice option but frankly I've not once used it. By default or habit I'd probably just use the mouse instead. I've seen a lot of keyboards try to fill the space with things just because the gap feels like wasted space but frankly I want my keyboard to be a keyboard. You don't have to fill the space. Or at least fill it with something more useful that's not typically on an input device like a "lock screen" button monitor brightness controls or similar. I also would've loved a bluetooth option. USB outlets are prime real estate these days on an all-in-one desktop. The ergonomic layout palm rest and overall feel has been perfectly fine to use. If you need an economic ergonomic keyboard I would definitely consider choosing this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently purchased the Staples Wireless Ergo Keyboard in black and I’ve been really impressed with its overall design and functionality. The sleek black look of the keyboard is modern and professional and the wireless design is incredibly convenient. It connected to my devices immediately without any hassle making it very easy to set up and use right out of the box. When it comes to comfort this keyboard has been a game-changer. I found it very easy and comfortable to use even during long work sessions. The ergonomic design was a bit challenging to get used to at first especially since I was accustomed to a regular keyboard. However after a short adjustment period I found that the ergonomic layout significantly improved my typing experience reducing hand fatigue and making typing much more enjoyable. One feature I particularly love is the center scroll wheel. It’s perfect for reading articles or scrolling through long documents offering a smooth and efficient way to navigate without having to rely on a mouse. Additionally the low-battery indicator light is a thoughtful touch that helps ensure I’m never caught off guard with a dead keyboard in the middle of a busy day. Overall what I liked most about this keyboard is how it balances comfort and functionality. It’s not only easy on the eyes but also on the hands making it a great addition to my workspace. Highly recommended for anyone looking to upgrade their typing experience!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What did you think of the look and wireless design of this keyboard? I’ve never used an ergonomic keyboard before. I’m not sure if I’m just used to a normal keyboard but I generally like smaller keyboards that don’t take up as much space (but with a number pad). It has a very simple look to it. I love that it’s wireless. I could never go back to using wired keyboards so this was nice. I love the feel of the keys. They’re nice and light. The ergonomic features take some getting used to. The letter keys are split down the middle so you really have to get used to it unless you’re typing skills are perfect. The center scroll was interesting. I didn’t really care for it but can see it being a nice feature for others.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This keyboard has been a lifesaver for me. I spend a lot of my free time gaming and cleaning both of which mean lots of little repetitive motions which over time have not been kind to my hands and wrists. Using this gives me proper support so I can spend more time at the keyboard with less discomfort. The setup was a breeze I didn't have to do anything besides put in batteries and plug it in. The scroll in the middle took a bit of time to get used to but once I did I loved the convenience of it and it made moving through long documents much easier. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone looking to improve the ergonomics of their home workstation.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This keyboard is great! I was getting arm and wrist cramps so I recently got a wider desk and was looking for a new keyboard and mouse pad. This keyboard fits the bill! I did have to restart my laptop to get the keyboard to connect but once I did that I haven’t had any issues. I have previously used a split keyboard so it didn’t take long to re-acclimate with this one. Happy with it!

Interesting layout that falls short

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pros: Comes with batteries wrists feel good on the keyboard easily connects to new computers Cons: Muscle memory is lost. Can't recharge or plug in the keyboard Have to move off of my home keys to make use of the middle scroll wheel. When I first opened up the package I thought the keyboard was larger than expected for a wireless keyboard but I liked how the keys look. Initial use of the keyboard was very clunky. I have to look at the keys to type anything without making a ton of typos. The center scroll wheel is interesting however it causes me to lose my place on the keys every time I use it and I still need the mouse to click other places. I don't currently have a use for just changing the scroll position. My favorite thing about the keyboard is how easy it was to get started with.
My old reliable ergonomic keyboard finally needed replacement so I gave the Staples TECH Wireless Keyboard a go. So far I am mostly pleasantly surprised. Key positions and spacing are similar enough to not require too much adjustment and it is a comfortable keyboard to use in extended sessions. The scroll wheel works well for quickly navigating web pages and documents. I only have a couple minor complaints: The wrist rest is hard plastic not the padded surface I've been accustomed to. Not quite as comfortable but not a deal breaker. The keys are almost a chiclet style. I didn't like the feel at first as compared to a traditional key style and travel but I have to admit I'm getting used to it. Overall this is an affordable comfortable wireless keyboard that might take a little getting used to but I'm glad I tried it. It's a keeper.

Best for larger home office

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Working from home full time and on multiple devices/machines it's definitely helpful for me to have wireless accessories. While I really wanted to like this product more it unfortunately was just too large for my current setup. I don't have a dedicated desk or office space in my house so combined with my two laptops and wireless mouse it just took up too much real estate. If I were working from larger monitors at a desk it would be a great addition to my setup as I do prefer a full sized keyboard over my laptop keyboard. It's lightweight enough to feel portable and the scroll wheel would allow me to get rid of my wireless mouse. I'll definitely hang onto it for use in the future.
