Fantastically easy and fast laminator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This laminator set up,heated up ,and was ready to go in under 2 minutes after I unpacked it. The slot size will accommodate small photo pockets up to standard pages. It works quickly and quietly. My dog didn’t even react whe it started working. I was able to laminate 25 copies of charts for my students to use when writing in under 15 minutes. This is the best laminator I’veused in my 30+ years of teaching. It is the BEST laminator it ever used!!!

I was so excited I immediately warmed it up which took no time at all and began laminating all my work that I have been putting off. It worked so well that I told the other teachers and staff about how terrific it was. It now sits in our teachers workroom where all the primary grade teachers are able to utilize it. The one thing that I really liked was the feature which allowed it to auto reverse when it jammed. This was wonderful as was the short warm up time. Great Laminator

It heats up quickly and the sheet goes through quickly as well. I tried both the 3 mil and 5 mil sheets. I haven't ordered larger sheets yet, but I plan to do so soon so I can laminate small posters. Very nice laminator!

It warms up quickly and laminates fast. I like that it automatically detects how thick the medium is and adjusts speed accordingly to provide uniform lamination. Great product!

Great for Office Use- with beginners in mind

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We use this laminator in an office of about 120 employees. Some employees do not know how to work a laminator let alone a copier or shredder. I placed this laminator in our copy room with a sign that says to come get me for instructions on how to use the laminator if needed. I give a quick run down of instructions like place the folded end in the machine or trim/cut the paper down before you laminate with space around each item for tags or labels so they can seal, etc. Employees have commented on how easy this machine is. In the past we've used the Venus 2 and the Jupiter 2. These older machines have lasted 10+ years. This new Jupiter machine is right up there with them. I expect to get 10+ years out of it. A few differences I've noticed- It doesn't take forever for the machine to 'cool off' after you turn it off, no more lingering noise when your done. It's also much easier to switch between hot and cold laminating which in past models, this has been a struggle to figure out how to switch it back to 'hot' after an accidental button push. I also like the clean white look over black or silver and that Fellowes has added handles grooves on the sides for easy carrying when you need to relocate the machine for special projects. The only thing that can make this laminator even better is if there was a cord wrap area for the power cord so if you didn't have a designated area and had to store the laminator when not in use, it would keep the power cord nice and tight. We currently use a Velcro strap to keep the cord bundled if we need to store it. Overall, it is an easy machine that I expect to last for several years! Great investment for any office.
