I have had an 11” Staples laminator for several years that has worked very well. I had a new project that needed 36 signs printed and laminated using 5mil 12x18 pouches. The quotes from several local printers was about $170 of which $132 was lamination. I had some 12x18 pouches from a previous job so I had the signs printed for $37 bought this laminator on sale for $60 and saved myself over $70 AND got myself a larger laminator for use in the future. The laminator did a great job!! No problems at all.
When I used this device for the first time I was waiting for the green light to illuminate that indicates that it's ready and it doesn't it does turn green. Other than that it works as promised.
This was the worst laminator I have ever used. It was not consistently heating product to form seal. I used it only because I ran out of time to get another one. I threw this one away.
I My company got this a few weeks ago & I’m the first to use.Laminated 20 documents & didn’t have a problem. Next doc paper jammed & release button doesn’t work. I can’t pull paper out & there’s no way to open it up & retrieve the jammed document. IIs this laminator meant to be disposable?Because it’s your most inexpensive laminator. I looked everywhere online & read the troubleshooting section of the documentation that came with the product ¬hing worked. I cannot pull paper out.
