[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love these! I like the color being more muted as more pen colors show up better- the neon ones tend to absorb color making the writing hard to read. The size is great and they’re super sticky!! I can peel and stick these over and over and they still hold their adhesive. Best of all they do not leave any gross residue behind. A clean peel!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Now this is a proper pack of sticky notes! I use these for everything- lists reminders flags in books and project notes. There are enough of them in the pack to help me with all these jobs many times over and the 3x3 inch pad gives enough space for writing without being an unwieldy size. The sticky strip sticks well to a variety of different surfaces without leaving any residue behind. I also like that they're a classic yellow color but not so bright that I can't use colored pens on them.

StickyISH Notes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Staples Notes get the job done in the simplest sense—but after using them extensively I wouldn’t recommend them for anyone who needs reliability or consistency. There are better options out there and I’d gladly pay more for them next time. I use sticky notes constantly as part of my daily workflow—jotting ideas tasks lists and the occasional sketch. I post them directly on my desk monitor for quick visibility. In terms of size (3” x 3”) they’re exactly right—no complaints there. The soft yellow color is another plus: easy on the eyes subtle and far preferable to the neon tones that dominate this category. The problem is adhesion. It’s inconsistent to a frustrating degree. Some notes stick well enough to stay in place for weeks while others detach and flutter down within an hour. I’ve had more than a few land on my desk or keyboard mid-task—not ideal. More troubling is how dependent the sticking power is on how you peel the note off the pad—something most users shouldn’t have to think about. If you peel carefully straight back and perpendicular to the adhesive edge you’ll get decent adhesion. But if you peel in the more natural intuitive motion—diagonally from corner to corner as if turning a page—the failure rate is astounding. In my experience roughly 1 out of 10 notes peeled this way will stay in place. The rest fall quickly. This is simply poor product design. A sticky note should not require a technique to perform its most basic secondary function—sticking. On the plus side the notes do not leave visible residue and the quantity is generous: 24 pads 100 sheets each. But bulk doesn’t compensate for unreliability. I’d much rather spend more per note on a product that works consistently—especially in a professional context where I need notes to stay visible and accessible without fail. Bottom line: these are usable for throwaway notes or low-stakes applications but not for anything where reliability matters. I won’t be buying them again. Saving pennies per note is not worth the hassle and inconsistency. When it comes to tools—even simple ones like sticky notes—I’d rather invest in quality I can trust.
I think they are as good as the name brand item. After all how long do they have to stick on anyway? The only complaint here is that this rating star system is odd. No matter which star you choose only one turns red. A five star rating should have 5 red stars. Really odd.
