Nice but mine broke the 1st time I use it.

I bought/picked this laminator because of all the great reviews I have read online si I went ahead and bought one, I was very excited to use it for my kids cardstock fluency strips, I was able to laminate maybe 5 pages and then it got hot and make some knocking noise so I went ahead and turn it off then it wont turn on anymore. I was very mad and disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Purchased approximately 4 months ago. Laminated approximately 30 pages. Now, it will not heat to laminating temperature.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Tray doesn't stay up

I had only had the laminator for about 3 months when the feed tray wouldn't stay up or it would stay up sometimes, but after 6 months, it will not stay up at all unless there is something propping it up. This hasn't been used many times even though I am a preschool teacher.

Great machine, flimsy tray that breaks

Great product but my tray won't stay up and that is how you feed the pouches. Without a properly functioning tray it is unusable. Now I will have to purchase a new unit, unless I hold it up for each pouch.

Broke after using twice.

I bought this laminator last school year. After using it twice, the tray broke! I am not new to using laminators and have never had one break like this before. It is flimsy and not worth the time or money to buy replacement parts and try to fix it. Very disappointed.

Great - until the input tray breaks

I loved it for the 2 months it worked - then the input tray broke. Now it is a pain to use. The least Scotch/3M could do is sell a replacement tray. So annoying. I thought people were just being careless with their laminator and that is why they broke - nope it breaks very easily.

Fire hazard

I just bought this laminator today. Plugged it in to use the first time and saw smoke coming out of it after 2 minutes into the warming process. Immediately unplugged it before it turned even worse than just smoke.
