Great vacuum but major Roller brush issue

Great vacuum and mop however the roller brush breaks easily. The plastic piece that makes it spin easily snaps off. Product defect and it’s hard to purchase replacements. I’ve had my robot for over a year and I love it except for the roller rush breaking.

I researched multiple brands before landing on Narwal. We have 4 dogs, 4 cats, 2 rabbits and 2 children with a mix of tile, hardwood and carpet. Mapping a 3200sqft house took less than 15 minutes. My floors have never been cleaner. I have run it almost daily. The app to set no go areas and customize how and where it cleans is next level. Buy. This. Now.

I’ve been using the Narwal Freo X Ultra for about a year now, and it’s been working great the whole time. The cleaning performance is solid and I really like how low-maintenance it is with the self-cleaning feature.
One thing I do find a bit inconvenient is having to empty the dirty water tank manually. The system does support direct drainage, which would make things much easier, but unfortunately my home setup doesn’t allow for it. If I could’ve installed that, it would’ve made the whole experience even better.
Overall, though, it’s an excellent robot vacuum that’s been reliable and effective. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a hands-off cleaning solution.

My honest review is it’s just “okay”. These units are selling at a pretty hefty price tag. For the last almost 10yrs I’ve used a different brand of robotic vacuum (no mopping feature) for my daily routine of vacuuming my hard floors. I thought I’d splurge and get one that mops and empties itself and saw all of these amazing reviews on FB of people causing they couldn’t live without this product. Three days a week it just vacuums my hard floors. I still see plenty of visible dirty/debris on the floor after it says it’s completed the task. Two days a week it vacuums & mops, and the same thing…I still see visible dirt/debris and spots that should have been mopped. It’s not too noticeable on my hardwood floors but it’s very noticeable on my white tile floors. For the money I paid, honestly I expected more out of this machine.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Overall, a Big Help

This Narwal robot vacuum and mop system has definitely lessened the burden on my husband and I when it comes to cleaning the floors of our house. Before, I would have to dedicate a lot of time to sweeping and then mopping the floors, which was really hard to do with a new baby. However, we love to set up the narwal to clean while we are asleep, which makes for a very satisfying morning wake-up. The only reason I reduced the rating was mainly cuz the robot will clean well, but not stuck on food messes (which makes sense since these need to be scraped off). Moreover, the app does not have a help me section for the Narwal Freo X Ultra yet, so I've had to figure out how to use the app on my own since I couldn't easily find someone on tiktok or youtube to help. Otherwise, this is still definitely a worthwhile investment for us.
