Any color so long as it's dark gray!

Nice shelving system except why do they only offer this in dark gray? I had an older one that was in beige and that fit my decor much better than this industrial looking unit. My house isn't a warehouse and I don;t want it looking like one. Is offering one more color so difficult?

Excellent….but…

I am VERY happy with this unit. I have about 10 around the house and garage now. I am very UNHAPPY they no longer come in the “platinum/beige” color! The new grey is too dark and does not go well with everything like I found the beige to. These will replace the ones in my garage that will be moved to the basement. BRING BACK THE BEIGE!!!

Hello, thank you for reviewing the Sterilite 4 Shelf Unit. We are currently not making item #0164 - 4 Shelf Unit in the color Light Platinum (Putty). The only color this product is being manufacture is Flat Gray.
After much research we choose the colors that follow popular trends and seem suitable for plastic storage or household items. Major retailers also do their own surveys, and request the colors that are most popular in the mass market. Color trends go in cycles, and there is always the possibility of a color returning as a future favorite again.

I HAVE THESE SHELVES IN SEVERAL ROOMS. GARAGE, GUEST BEDROOM, SCREENED LAN AI, ETC. I FIND THEY CAN BE USED (TWO SHELVES EACH) IN HALF FOR SHORTER SHELF AREAS TO PUT PLANTS ON AND TO CREATE HABITATS FOR MY GRANDDAUGHTER'S BARBIE DOLLS!

Love my cabinets

I started with 2 and now have 9. Sturdy, holds heavy objects, and nice design.
I've even decorated it with stickers.
I absolutely love these cabinets with doors.
Makes the room look neat.

Great shelves -- but the gray has to go.

I love these shelves! I have a number of them, and use them for all kinds of storage. But...what happened to the offwhite/putty color? This industrial gray is awful! And I see that you have a number of reviews saying the same. When will you bring back the lighter color? I completely agree with all of those who say the gray is industrial, it's dark, it's ugly. Moreover, it doesn't match the Sterilite shelving I love. The color means enough that I"m looking for other alternatives. BRING BACK THE OFF-WHITE SHELVES!! Thank you.

GREAT DURABLE, VERSATILE PRODUCT

THESE SHELVING UNITS ARE BOTH INDESTRUCTIBLE AND VERSATILE. I USE THEM IN MY OUTDOOR KITTY ENCLOSURE. I NORMAILLY BUY MULTIPLE 4 SHELF UNITS AND CREATE MY OWN 2-5 SHELF UNITS, DEPENDING ON WHAT I NEED TO FIT WHERE. I ALWAYS BUY THE 4 SHELF UNIT AS IT IS CHEAPER. WHEN THEY GET DIRTY, I JUST SQUIRT THEM OFF WITH THE HOSE AND WIPE THEM DRY...THEY ARE AS GOOD AS NEW. THE KITTIES LOVE RUNNING AND JUMPING UP AND DOWN FROM ONE UNIT TO THE NEXT TO THE NEXT.
