[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Bosch GNH18V-18MB12 18V Brad Nailer on a few recent jobs and it’s been a great addition to my toolbox. The performance easily exceeds my previous nail gun. Right out of the box, I noticed how lightweight but sturdy it felt. I had no problem using it one-handed when needed. The kit comes with a 2.0Ah battery, charger, and bag. The tool bag is really nice quality and great to have.
The performance really stood out on the job. I used it to install crown molding and baseboards, and it sank 18-gauge brad nails into hardwood with no issues. The low recoil made it easy to stay precise and I never had to worry about nails going in crooked. Adjusting the depth with the thumb wheel was simple and I didn’t have to stop what I was doing.
One feature I really appreciated was the dry-fire lockout. I’ve had other nailers that kept firing even when the magazine was empty and it ended up damaging the material. This one stops with five nails left which saved me a lot of hassle. I haven’t had any jams yet but knowing I can clear them without a tool is a nice bonus. The LED lights came in handy when I was working in darker spaces like under cabinets.
The battery life has been solid. I drove over 100 nails on one charge, and the battery still showed full. For most trim work, the 2.0Ah battery has been more than enough, though I might pick up a 4.0Ah battery for longer projects.
Overall, I’m really happy with this nailer. It has the power of a pneumatic nailer but no air compressor required. If you do a lot of trim or finish work, I’d definitely recommend. Well-made and well-designed tools like this improve quality of life on the job and are well worth it.

Amazing Brad Nailer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very well made nailer. Feels very solid and works flawlessly. I was a little concerned about the size and the weight of the tool, but it's really good balanced (bigger 4ah battery improves the balance even further) and the convenience of the freedom with the cordless nailer is a huge improvement. The magazine is easy to load and has convenient anti jam mechanism. That said - no jams after around 200 nails in both Single and Bump modes. Depth of drive is very accurate and consistent after adjustment. The interface is intuitive and user friendly - easy change modes, led light showing batter charge.
Couple of small things that I would improve: - a stronger work led lights - some kind of laser aim for more accurate nailing in delicate areas

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This brad nailer gun is extremely nice! The quality is super good and it is also extremely durable too! It is heavy duty which is very important when it comes to professional jobs! It is heavy but not too heavy. This kit comes with the gun, battery, charger and a bag too. The battery charges pretty fast so you can get going on projects!
Loading the brad nails into the gun is easy and doesn’t take a lot of effort. It is a one handed activation too and the wheel is super easy to switch between modes. There is a single fire mode and bump fire mode and the wheel also activates the LED lights. The motor is powerful and the gun is low recoil too which makes it easier to control. I highly recommend this brad nail gun for projects/jobs! It is very much worth it and makes getting things done a lot easier and faster!

I was a bit leery on purchasing any Bosch nailers given they hadn’t advanced any in this field of tools in over a decade. However, after some research and watching reviews on YouTube I bought 3 fasteners: the 15 & 18ga nailer and the 18ga narrow crown stapler. My first experience right thru to current day has been very positive. It loads easy, has good site-lines and excellent battery/nail rate. Although I haven’t experienced any jams; I like how it’s a tool-less nose release (just like some of my porter cable air nailers/staplers). Although this tool is a bit heavier than its air powered brother, I find it’s less fatiguing as I’m not lugging hoses and a compressor around the work area. It has a bit of a learning curve if you’re used to operating a Bosch circular saw (and other Bosch tools) often; the on/off switch for the nailer is in the same orientation as the safety on the saw. I found myself turning the nailer off if I handled the nailer following repositioning a workpiece, then picking up the nailer to shoot a nail. Hope that makes sense. Anyhow after a bit I found the right rhythm and sequence and I find bump fir easier but you should be very careful and experienced with bump firing any nailers or fasteners in general. I love this tool for its great features, build quality and Bosch’s reputation of making tools that last several decades. If there was one thing Bosch should do with all kits they sell, it’s put a sample of brads with these kits. These days a lot of folks do mail order and sometimes forget to buy fasteners. My mom use to say “boys never grow older then 10; you still love to play with toys. They just get a whole lot more expensive.” So..Bosch we need those nails to play!!
