After a lot of research I decided to update my no longer supported router to a WiFi-7 router, and ASUS was my choice for all it offered. It is fast and covers my entire home. There are no subscriptions for services, unlike the competitors, and the price was competitive with other routers in its class.

All but 1 of my "older" 2.4Ghz devices connected to ASUS ZenWiFi BQ16 Pro after updating firmware, and running "Mesh Optimization". I Still cannot get that device to connect. I have 79 devices running on Wifi. 78 have connected. Both speed and connection strength is excellent.
