I haven’t had any problems with it except for the io shield which I couldn’t figure out and now it’s all bent up. Probably user error though it was my first time building a pc

Powerfull compact mobo. The only flaw is thatbit is on OC by default and getting hot very fast even when you do t need it. Idle mod is restless and is not easy to put the non-OC parameters off.

Bought as part of a bundle from my local Microcenter because AM5 socket and it wasn’t a Gigabyte product. Was used in my first ever gaming pc build and so far am enjoying my it. Works great with all the other components I got and there’s plenty of i/o for what I needed.

Built 3 of these hummers for my home network, including 3 of each: Amd Rysen 7-8700G, Asus Prime B650M-A-AX-II, and Corsair 6000Z30 2x16GB. This was the only MB I could find with 8 Sata ports. Seems like all the newer Amd mb’s have only 4 or maybe 6. I did buy a spdif board for each, which worked out great for the old Logitech Z speaker system and my Onkyo receiver.
I wasted 2 days with a bad power supply I had laying around. I had kept it as a spare cause it came out of an old working intel system. Who Knew. After I figured that out, each went smoothly with the new Asrock Steel Legend SL-750G 750W, I got for each. Even though, This review for ASRock review rebate program, I am happy I got these. Latest of everything on this PS, plus plenty of Sata connectors and the 2-cpu connectors for future use if I decide to upgrade. Very quiet and I like the ribbon type cables. They feel strong and flexible enuf to get where they need to go. The size is standard, fit into my 10+ year old cases. I like the fact it is one of the least expensive 80Plus Gold, Cybernetic A Plus and a 10-yr warranty.
Read a lot of neg reviews on MB, but recent ones are good. I was sold on the 8 Sata ports. Flashed the MB with the latest bios first, used my old 250gb SSD’s (unallocated will give you 3 partitions, win11 install will GPT the SSD) for Win11 Pro 64bit and Office 2021 64bit by way of StackSocial, and have a bunch of 8 and 4 TB hd’s on 2 builds and 2-24tb Seagates, on the third build. We use that one as our spare or “backup cloud”. Even though the mem has EXPO on it, I keep the bios on Auto. It will kick in if I do anything extensive. The CPU is at 900-980 rpms, temp is 31c CPU and 36c mb as I am typing on Word. On Expo1 the CPU is at 1100 rpm, the CPU is 37c and MB is 38c. The stock Amd fan works pretty well.
The builds are nothing fancy, using the IGFX graphics on each. We are not into gaming, just entertainment streaming and word processing and the web, of course. I used my old Antec Sonata on the backup machine and 2 Antec Solo’s on the other 2. I wish Antec would sell the USB replacement module. Great inexpensive way to upgrade to win11. I was always intel, but I got tired of the pin changes, MB’s and IGFX graphics, only supported for so long and then you live with no updates for 8 years. I got 10-12 years out of my last builds and they were still going great.
