I purchased the Dyson about 1 month ago, first thing I vacuumed was my living room area rug and I was left in complete disbelief on how much my old vacuum did NOT pick up, and I vacuum daily. I love the multiple attachments, easy to empty canister, love the illumination technology. My only negative is having to hold the on button, I had a few hand surgeries so its difficult on the hand and needing to hold it on doesn't allow much shifting of your hand.

I love my Dyson V15. I previously had the V11, and I also liked it, but the V-15 has more attachments, battery life, and the dirt detection attachment is amazing. It's the cadillac of all vacuums, and performs great. I also like that the is filtered air, as I have a dog who sheds a lot. Very low noise for the amount of suction it has. I'm very impressed.

Just received and used on our bedroom carpet. We have two cats and a dog — all shedders. We had to empty the dust bin at least 8 times while vacuuming- but our carpet never looked so clean. It was amazing. We are glad we got this new model. It’s great.

The catchment container is too small. I have to empty it more than once when I vacuum. I had a larger container with my previous Dyson but I was not able to find that model. Is it discontinued?
