Despite repeated attempts, achieving a proper fit with the replacement earpieces proved impossible, and in the process, I inadvertently damaged them. The audio quality is not superior to the Buds 2, which at least provided a consistently comfortable and secure fit without causing damage to the ear inserts.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It does indeed require Bluetooth connectivity, which means the earbuds need to be out of the case to trace their location. When the earbuds are in the case, they disconnect from your device, making them unable to communicate their location. The sound is incredible, with plenty of bass, and plenty of volume. The noise canceling is surprisingly good. I pair them with an S24, and it's a good match. Using the Wearable app to set them up makes it easy.
Battery life doesn't last as long as my pro2 buds did.

When it comes to playtime, you can enjoy up to 6 hours with active noise cancellation (ANC) on, and up to 7 hours with ANC off. Overall, the total playtime is 26 hours with ANC on and 30 hours with it off. In terms of talk time, the earbuds provide up to 4.5 hours with ANC on and 5 hours with it off, contributing to a total talk time of 20 hours with ANC on and 22 hours with it off. To conserve battery power when you need it most, consider keeping the earbuds in the charging case with the lid closed when not in use and adjusting your notification settings through the Galaxy Wearable app on your connected phone, or the Galaxy Buds app if you are using an iOS device.
