The Asus VA279HG turned out to be an excellent purchase, especially for the price point. The picture quality is crisp and consistent, making it a solid choice for everyday use, work, and light media. I was also impressed by how thin and modern the design is—it looks clean on the desk without taking up visual space.
Assembly was refreshingly simple. Everything fits together securely, and the monitor was up and running in minutes.
The only drawback is the cell‑phone mounting slot built into the stand. It’s a creative idea, but in practice it doesn’t really function well. The angle and placement make it more awkward than useful.
Even with that minor issue, the overall experience has been very positive. Great value, great quality, and a sleek design that feels more premium than its price suggests. A very good purchase.
