Small speaker, huge sound

I got the Technics SL-50C turntable for him as a present, and he was excited about making a dedicated Technics turntable set up. These are an all-in-one solution with many varied input possibilities. They're heavier than I expected for their size, but once I listened, I knew why. The audio was far richer and louder than I expected. I've never heard a record sound so good. He first played them on their own which was amazing, but he wanted more bass, so he hooked up a 10" subwoofer to the dedicated sub output, and that added a wow factor. I would have been happy with just the speakers because they're so clean sounding, but he loves his bass!! I would absolutely recommend these speakers. They may be expensive, but once you hear them, you know why. These would be phenomenal for small spaces. I received this product at a discount and exchange for my honest opinion.

Big sound in small package

Great speakers for both music and movies. I have been looking for some high quality powered bookshelf speakers and the SC-CX700 fits the bill perfectly.
Currently using these hooked up to a Technics turntable and they sound fantastic. I will be moving these into my TV room so that they can also be used for watching TV/movies.
Really impressed by the build quality. These are hefty speakers and they feel solid. They look premium with the felt finish. Setup was quick and easy with the app, which allows for a bunch of different adjustments to the speakers and access to various music streaming services.

I like that there is the ability to do a room or placement calibration, so regardless of where you place them you can get the best sound.
There are plenty of inputs, including optical, hdmi, and rca. You can use these for a lot of different sources. The remote is nice and has all the basic functionality.
The speakers really start to sound good at slightly higher volumes. I would like to have a little more bass, but there is a subwoofer RCA out, so I will be adding a separate subwoofer, which will help with movies.
I’m really happy with these speakers. Tons of features with great sound. Finally found a pair of speakers that I feel can last a long time.

Anyone who has built a separate component system knows the rabbit hole, once you factor in standalone DACs, integrated amps, and messy cabling, the total investment in both money and space easily surpasses the speakers themselves.
The CX700s pack everything you need into a single, cohesive pair. If you lack the room for a sprawling rack of gear or you simply want a minimal setup that sounds incredible these fill the gap effortlessly. Pair them cleanly with a TV, a PC, or a turntable, and let these speakers stand out.
When it comes to the listening experience, the vocals and instruments sit distinctly in the mix, the highs stay crisp without becoming fatiguing, and the low end is tight and punchy without feeling boomy. Keep in mind you can dial in the input gain and calibration settings in the app pretty easily. Yes, you are restricted in comparison to EQing on your integrated amp, but the tradeoff is worth it for the space.
At just under 20 lbs each, these speakers carry substantial weight and density, so make sure whatever desk, console, or shelf you place them on is sturdy and secure.
Overall, if you want high-fidelity performance while saving space, these hit the sweet spot.

Amazing Sound Quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In a word - "WOW". The sound quality from these speakers is phenomenal. I had read other reviews, and You Tube videos that were full of praise, but hearing them for myself I was completely blown away. Setup and connectivity are so simple, and I was streaming music from Spotify in no time at all. The app is great and provides a wealth of features and streaming options. My reference album is "Brothers in Arms" as it's such a good recoding and is often used by audiophiles when reviewing high end equipment. Let me say even through streaming I have never heard this album sound so good. The clarity of the individual instruments and the guitar work "Money for Nothing" is amazing. When I connected my turntable and played the same album from vinyl, it sounded even better!!! The speakers are wrapped in a luxurious suede, and always turn heads when people see them. They look and sound way more expensive than what they are. I could not be happier and look forward to many hours of use. I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest opinion.

Great sound with ease of use

They are very easy to set up and they have a gorgeous design, actually, they are probably the best looking speakers I’ve seen. They can get very loud while maintaining clarity and they are good at creating a stereo soundstage. There is a variety of connection options which I really appreciate because I can easily connect other sources when I’m not listening to the turntable. Great and clear speakers

The speakers are very aesthetic and the sound is very clear. There is also surround sound with it and the link between it is easy to set up. The only complain is sometimes when I speak on the microphone there is feedback and I have to use an earphone in addition to the speaker because I use two speakers now instead of one . The speaker is also very aesthetically pleasing and it's also very premium. I love the sound clarity and the bass and also how I can tinker with the modes. awesome surrounding sound

From soundbars to other bookshelf speakers, they all just cannot compare to these. I think the look of them is really unique and definitely sets them apart from anything else on the market.
