[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been happy with this turntable. Setup was quick and straightforward, and I was listening to records within minutes. The instructions were easy to follow, and everything just worked the way it should. One thing I really enjoy is the Bluetooth feature. It connected easily to my existing receiver, so I didn't have to replace any of my older equipment. Even better, I can play my records through multiple Bluetooth speaker groups around the house. Being able to walk from room to room while the music follows you is something I didn't realize I'd enjoy this much. The sound quality has been excellent, and the turntable feels solid overall. It strikes a nice balance between modern convenience and the classic experience of playing vinyl. My only complaint is the buttons. They work fine, but they feel a bit cheap compared to the rest of the unit. The turntable has a premium look, and higher-quality buttons would have completed that upscale feel. Overall, it's a great turntable that's easy to use, sounds great, and adds modern features without taking away from the vinyl experience. I'd recommend it. A quality and modern turntable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just unboxed and setup the turntable this morning. From closed box to playing records via Bluetooth took 26 minutes. Simple set up, great sound and very sturdy build. Nothing flimsy about the turntable. The ability to play records at great quality without connecting cables is amazingly freeing. My turntable can be anywhere. I haven't used the unit cabled so can't speak to the difference in audio quality. I live in a warehouse and will be using this exclusively in Bluetooth mode. So happy to get an even response from the turntable through my Bluetooth audiophile amp. Never using cables again. The unit looks fantastic. Very slick minimalist styling and a decent heft to the body. The direct drive system works well. It comes with a decent cartridge but I will be upgrading that as I do with any turntable in the mid price range. Overall this a fantastic package the brings a new level of freedom without sacrificing audio quality. Very positive about this unit. One slight negative when using the turntable in Bluetooth mode, I get a light earth hum and occasional pop when I'm manipulating the tonearm into place, as soon as I release the tonearm there is almost total silence. This doesn't bother me and is understandable given the low output of a cartridge, it essentially acting like an aerial when I'm holding it. For me that is a minor issue. It might disappear if I connect an earth cable. Given crackle on a lot of my vinyl it's hardly an big issue for me. I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest opinion.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This feels like a quality product right out of the box. It was very well packaged (get ready for A LOT OF cardboard), has a nice amount of weight to it, and looks great once set up.
Follow the instructions and you won't get stuck, everything feels of quality and has a nice finish. Connecting it to a Bluetooth speaker was surprisingly quick and easy, which made getting started even more enjoyable.
The only part that took a few minutes was figuring out the tonearm counterweight balance, but a quick YouTube video can help if needed. Once everything was dialed in, it sounded fantastic.

First, I thought that it sits well within the entry level turntables and the high-end ones. Priced appropriately for the specs and design. The set-up is well described on the manual and is really simple to follow. It takes about 5 to 10 minutes to get it done. I started with the analog connection to an amplifier, and the sound quality was amazing, even without equalizing it in detail.
My surprise came when I connected it via Bluetooth to my surround system. Usually, BT connections do not reproduce sound at the same level of the analog way, but I can say this turntable blew mi mind. I could still hear the small details of the high and low notes and, if not paying too much attention, I couldn’t hear the difference. This is a game changer for me. Having great sound quality over BT, gives me the flexibility to share the sound in different spaces of my home, and that is something I was looking for.

I found this feature of great value , by being able to listen to your sound in different locations. The sound quality when paired with the Bluetooth speakers (SC-CX700) was exceptional with rich quality sound. The Turntable has ease of use and setup making using it out of the box in minutes. Superior Sound

I was skeptical about this turntable with the Bluetooth technology at first but now I’m convinced that it’s the best way to go if you’re serious about getting superior sounds from your vinyl collection I have a records that are both new and vintage and wanted a new turntable that would be able to make all my albums sound great. This was it. The setup was easy and within minutes I was enjoying my vinyl once again. My husband and I danced together in the middle of the living room for the first time in ages. I’m normally a purest and love the sound of an old record player but now I’m not going back to my old setup. I’m happier than ever with my purchase and can’t wait to to find other albums!

Beautiful Sound and Easy Setup

This Technics direct drive turntable checked all my boxes. First off, it was packed beautifully, so there was no chance of any damage. Each piece was packaged with care. The instructions for putting the machine together were simple enough that even a novice like me could follow along. When playing my records is where this product really shines. The sound quality was awesome, and fine tuning the player was so simple. I love the sound bothe through the easy to button use Bluetooth connection and being hooked up to my better system. The highs are crisp, and the lows are full and lush. It really is a great system! I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest opinion.

High quality turn table with amazing sound

The Technics Audio SL-40CBT is one of the best turn tables for an affordable price. The direct drive has high precision and is much more precise and stable than a belt drive turntable. It is super easy to such between phono and Bluetooth modes. 99% of the vinyl LPs that I have use 33 RPM so I chose the Bluetooth option over having another speed of 78 RPM with the SL-50. My kids love listening to newer music so the Bluetooth option is a must. And when I want to put on some records, I can just switch back. I am not an audiophile, but I was able to set up the turntable with ease. Overall I am very happy with this system!
