Works, but too loud

The fit on the headphones is nice and the sound quality is fine. But the lowest volume setting is a solid "medium", meaning it's impossible to listen softly to music. (The highest volume setting would be deafening when they are worn on the ears -- it's practically turns into a portable speaker, though at that volume, the quality isn't very good.) The battery life is mediocre compared to other headphones I've had.

Feel and audio are fine but ANC was unusable

The build and audio quality were about what I would?ve expected for the price, just fine. But the active noise canceling made these completely unusable.
Any small background white noise caused a low tone rattling that sounded and felt like a large bug stuck in my ear canal.

Value oriented versatility

Bought a new one to replace the same after 6 years. The noise reduction helps when biking. Price was very competitive.

Really good, reasonably priced

I decided to try these based on a recommendation in _Wired_. They're way reasonably priced, they fit all the head sizes in my household, they sound great, they look pretty good, and they don't leak much. This is actually my 2nd pair (one of my partners 'borrowed' the 1st pair).

Fatal Flaw

This is my second set of these headphones and both have the same failure. While charging, after approximately 10 minutes, the charge indicator changes from red to blue indicating a full charge. However, the headphones are completely inoperative and charge indicator/power indicator remains on until the charge is exhausted. In addition the Bluetooth side exceeds a safe temperature. Again I have purchased two of these, my first set failed after using a power bank to charge them, I discarded both.. The second set was charged using a laptop PC and now have the exact same failure. So in the end I am out $179 on two defective Monoprice products and a likely good power bank. FYI I do own the older version of this headset and it performs perfectly after 5+ years of use.

Successful gift!

I bought a pair for myself and love them, so I bought these as a gift for my brother. He said they work great, feel comfortable and the sound quality is very good. We especially appreciate the ANC feature, which makes a difference when ambient noise is present. Thank you Monoprice for a quality product at a good price!
