Really Impressed!

I picked these up on Black Friday to add to my headphones collection. What caught my eye was AptX and 16 hour battery life. I must say these sound great. Very detailed highs and the bass reaches down low enough, though not overly powerful. However if you use the cord they will become very punchy, at least with my LG phone. The specs don't list it but these are high impedance (over 50 ohms) when used wired. This triggers the high powered DAC in the LG phones which really make these cans sing. The noise cancelling works fine although it is not a big deal for me. Doesn't totally block sound but fine for what it is. These headphones are a bargain at the sale price and I highly recommend.
Using head phones is a totally new experience for me. The system linked to the blue tooth on my computer. I use them for music and pod casts. It is going to take some time to become accustomed to the pressure of the ear phones around my ears. Otherwise a nice experience. This seems a far better way to to become accustomed to a product rather than purchasing one of the very expensive models.
I pared the headphones via bluetooth with my iPhone, iPad, and my TV’s LG sound-bar. I could both send and receive audio with the sound-bar using bluetooth.
Noise canceling was pretty good. I could wear the headphones and listen to audio from my iPhone while using an electric leaf blower.
The 3.5mm audio cable supplied was not expected, but it was only four feet long and didn’t seem to make a good connection with my home theater receiver's headphone jack. I used a different adapter and cable that worked well.
Battery life has been excellent. I have yet to need a recharge since I received the headphones last week. My only complaint is I missed out on the 21% discount now offered by Monoprice.
Great headphones for the price. Max volume could be a bit higher and noise canceling could be a bit more effective. That being said, for $40 vs most major brands are $250+, these headphones are certainly much better than 1/6 the quality of the major brands.
I was impressed with the sound and comfort. I purchased so I could listen to my LG TV with headphones while the external speakers were still functioning, my wife tells me I am a little hard of hearing and this was going to be my solution.. Unfortunately, LG does not in my research and experience ,allow this condition to exist, at least with these headphones. Not certain if this is unique to these headphones or not. I hope to research to find a solution.
