Actually, I was slightly disappointed with the Panini Grill. I know that I looked at the measurements prior to purchase, but somehow, I thought that it would be larger. In any case, it does what it is supposed to do, but I find it a little small.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We went to several stores just to buy this exact product. Either sold ONLY online or none in stock. First time using it very happy with this item I'm looking forward to more paninis and grilled steaks. Good thing about it is just taking the detachable grills off to wash.

Great grill cooks well. Temperature control. Removable and reversible plate easy to remove and clean.
The height regulator is manual and fixed. It would be nice if you could adjust it according to your food height. Also the top plate does is not flexible enough(does sits on 180 degree) so it pushes the food to the front edge.

i receive it as a gift , non stick plate and easy to clean .you just get them off and wash it put it back
