Broken right from start

Tried to wash both grilling surfaces as suggested and the first one the spring on the button was already broken. Unit seems to heat up quite quickly which is good and the removable plates would have been a great feature had they worked unfortunately this unit will be going back

Permanent counter top appliance

Just bought a second one. We had the first grill for over two years but were using it so much ( almost daily) that it finally gave out. Great little appliance for quick meals. Beside sandwiches, we like to make turkey bacon and tortilla wraps on it.
