Great. A little tricky to get the top level.

At first I thought it wouldn't cook the top flat. Then I realized that the top can be pushed to make it level. It is a bit hot so I use a cloth. Perhaps the hinge is a bit tight because it is new. Other than that, it has been great fun to make paninis. Bonus feature is that it can be spread out to lay flat as a grill for steak or smokies.
I would recommend this to a friend!

My daughter bought this for me as a birthday present and I LOVE it! I use it for making sandwiches and paninis. I no longer hate making lunches! It is the perfect size for making 2 sandwiches and the removable grills make it so easy to clean.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Having had 4 different Panini-Grills I assumed that they all performed similarly ... adequately.
Well I am pleased to say I was wrong.
May new Rock Panini-Grill is by far the greatest purchase of any in my 50 years of cooking.

Perfect Size

This Panini Grill is the perfect size for what I need. Can use indoors year round - so bar-b-q weather doesn't matter at all. I have been wanting one for a long time but found some other brands just too expensive. I have always been happy with any Starfrit product I own so I am quite certain that this product will last me a long time.

I am happy I bought the panini press. I like that it can be folded down to cook on both sides of the grill. Makes a great panini, bread has really good grill marks and is crunchy, inside of sandwich is hot and cheese melted well. Can be used for many items like vegetables, omlettes, hashbrowns,chicken, burgers not just a panini. Very versatile.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I bought this a small while ago. It is smaller than expected. You can put about two large sized burgers on the grill at once. I love the fact that the grills are removable to wash.
