The card is too good to be true. Sure, it can connect at 10GB/s, but you'll quickly find that the card will just stop working too. Then you have to reset it before you have any connectivity again. That might be almost passable for a client machine, but forget it for any machine that you want to use as some kind of server. It's unfortunate, as this card had so much promise only to fall short, and it is most likely just a bad driver, and there isn't a newer one that fixes it, and it's been this way for over a year.

easy to install. Downloading and unzipping the drives were the hardest thing to do. As a replacement for the Ethernet card my computer came with. It's night and day. I already see an improvement in my game play. Zero lag. No shudders, No missed shots.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Upload speeds are maximum 50 Mbps on Windows 11. The drivers on Linux (Ubuntu) are broken and don't work. I wish I had gotten something different.

I had read several negative reviews about the ASUS XG-C100C 10G PCIe Network Adapter, which made me hesitant at first. However, after researching further, it appears many of those issues were resolved in the most recent driver updates. In my experience, the card has been flawless so far. It has worked perfectly with my ASUS ROG Strix B550-F Gaming, and I suspect it would perform just as well in many other high-end motherboards. Considering the performance and features, it is definitely worth the price. One suggestion I would give to anyone installing this card is to download the latest driver first and install it before inserting the physical card. Doing this made the installation process smooth and trouble-free for me. After installing the card and the updated driver, everything has been running perfectly. I have experienced no issues with performance or stability.
