got my ring and the case was scuffed right out the box. ok no biggie it’s just the case. two days of wearing the ring all day, seeing it light up throughout the day and yet no data recorded. paired and unpaired the ring, synced over and over. nothing. finally day three and i have data BUT i also already have a big scuff on the ring. for $200, the quality has been worse than the $15 temu one this was supposed to replace. genuinely hoping i can return this because it’s disappointing. the app looks good but the ring itself is lack luster

I am loving this ring. I had an Oura ring that was terrible. It scratched right away, it would not register my sleep correctly. I would go to bed at 11 and up at 6 and it said I had 3 hours of sleep? This one works perfect! The fit is right on and I love the rubber cover I can put on when needed. It does not spin as much as the other one either... I like a tight fit but, as I am sure with most people, depending on how much salt I have had or the humidity that day, it will be tighter or looser on my finger. Even when it gets a little loose, it does not spin as bad as the Oura ring. I love that I can put the rubber cover over it and turn it into a black ring... or leave it as the silver one other times... it looks great either way! I do wish I could have chosen the cover color. It came with a white one and a black one. I would have chosen 2 black ones as the white one will never be used by me. The app is really great too. So much easier to use than the "other guys"... and, even better... it is FREE! I do find that it is sometimes hard to get my ring to start charging. I have to put it on the base multiple times and then re-plug it in a few times to get it to start... but, after all that, it charges quick and holds a charge for a long time. Really happy I upgraded to this ring! I would recommend this one a hundred times over than the other one. Now I just have to sell my Oura ring to someone else... but it will be hard. There are SO many of them for sale on FaceBook Marketplace (but I never see anyone selling their QALO ring!).

Step counter is off.

Step counter is off when your hand is stationary. For example in the same 30 minute treadmill walk, if my hand is stationary I get 900 steps and if my hand swings freely I get over 3000 steps. The second thing that could be better is the fact that you have to remove the silicone ring in order for your ring to charge.

The best decision ever

This ring is better than I expected. The fit is seamless, it's not bulky at all, the gold is beautiful. The health features that are tracked are easily comparable to my Apple Watch and the fluidity of the app with Apple Health is great. It's only been a couple days but I love it already!

Be wary of the warranty

I want to give 5 stars because I do love the ring. It’s comfortable, it does a decent job at tracking my activities and stuff. However I had it for less than 60 days and it stopped charging. I contacted CS, they were really quick to send a new one once I sent mine back, but they made it clear in all bold “this is a one time warranty replacement” and gave tips on how to “not damage the ring.” That is frustrating because I don’t do anything crazy with my hands, it was never dropped, I don’t lift weights or anything so I know it was a manufacturing issue. Having a one time replacement on an expensive item that stopped working makes me wary to purchase another through Qalo. I could see if it was my fault only doing a one time replacement. Charging a small fee if a future warranty claim is made would give me further confidence in the company rather than a one and done.
